Movement is essential in preventing & combating chronic disease. It is a key component to mind-body wellness. Over the past few years, social media has exploded with health tips and workouts. Though I'm encouraged by the positive platform that this provides individuals in terms of support and accountability, I'm frustrated by the misinformation and unrealistic expectations that it can set. What does real health look like? How can you fit motion and wholesome foods into the chaos of day-to-day life? And is that latest fad diet or workout regimen safe for you?
Thus came the idea for Rx2Move, a project with the goal of promoting movement while spreading evidence-based information
on exercise, nutrition, and health.
